Alright, buckle up, babes! We’re diving into the wild ride that was A and J’s wedding weekend in the charming town of Elk, California.
Picture this: a festival-themed extravaganza, lasting a whole weekend in June 2023, with 130 guests, some seriously talented vendors, and enough good vibes to light up the Northern California coast. Let’s spill…
The Venue:
Cuffey’s Cove Ranch, a spot straight out of a dream. Redwoods, HUGE Pacific Ocean views — it was the perfect canvas for Alex and Jack’s love story.
Glamping:
Glamp Girl provided cozy tents for a bit of luxury camping, and can we talk about the Oasis Bath House and Driftwood Sauna? Luxury vibes all around.
The Finer Details:
Matt Rowland Events, Found Rental Co., and The Posh Privy made sure the details were on point. Stylish rentals and posh toilets — because details matter and there were a zillion of them.
Weekend-Long Party:
The fun kicked off on Thursday with a Michelin Star dinner for close family at The Harbor House Inn. Friday brought the majority of the guests for a welcome party at Cuffey’s featuring the soulful tunes of close personal friends, Evolfo. And guess what? The party didn’t stop until Sunday (maybe Monday for some!). A whole weekend of celebrating love and good times.
Dazzling Night Lights:
Royal Sound and Lighting, along with Nathan King and his lasers, turned the barn (and the outside of the barn) into a magical wonderland!
Personal Touches:
Kathryn Green‘s signage and paper goods tied everything together. It was like the whole celebration had a signature Alex and Jack stamp on it.
The Threads and Glam:
Alex rocked a J. Andreatta dress and was glammed by none other than Northern California’s best beauty team, Beauty On Set. A sunbeam crown by Fernando Rodriguez Design added that extra touch of glam to our babe. Jack looked sharp in his custom Fort Lonesome suit adorned with SUPER custom patches of things in their lives that they love, *ahemhem* their pets.
Floral Wonderland:
This Humble Abode and Vessel Rental Co. turned the whole place into a riot of colors with their floral magic and custom fabrications. Every bloom, from the custom ceremony platform to the reception centerpieces, was like a burst of happiness. Every color drip candle, every bowl of brown bananas, you name it – we wrote weird and quirk on everything.
Capture the Memories:
Love Tribe Weddings snapped pics and videos that will make these two cry-laugh for years to come. They spent the whole weekend onsite capturing every little detail and brilliantly assembling them into one major motion movie.
Food and Drinks:
Potliquor & Just Fare brought the taste buds to life, and Mendocino Outland Bartending kept the spirits high. A Sweet Affair Patisserie baked up about 5 cakes that were almost too pretty to eat. Almost.
Unique Touches:
The Bohemian Chemist took care of the “bud-tending” business, adding that extra flair. There were personal touches everywhere you looked – from a couple of silver mannequins made for interactive art projecting to sticker machines to tattoos to Alex and Jack’s fav candies to a wishing tree to a dedication table for loved ones lost, literally EVERYWHERE you looked, there was something personal and special that just screamed Alex and Jack.
Dance the Night Away:
Dart Collective was the musical maestro for wedding day, making sure everyone had a blast on the dance floor. Their playlist was as eclectic as Alex and Jack themselves.
Photomatica‘s photo booth added a dash of fun, with instant keepsakes for all. Jack even bought the machine after the wedding to keep as a keepsake back home.
