This wedding is pretty darn close to what all wedding dreams are made of. Situated in beautiful Sintra, Portugal lies The Palace of Monserrate, an exotic palatial villa and World Heritage Site. The ceremony was held in the ruins in the most picturesque setting you could ever imagine (see pictures for proof)! After the ceremony, guests headed back to The Quinta where live musicians, hors d’oeuvres, and plenty of cocktails were waiting. A beautiful 4 course dinner was served in the fireplace room and dancing commenced just one room over. We danced until the sun came up and we’ll never forget this experience! Check out the video by Ballesteros Photography at the end of this post for a full event run down. I dare you not to cry.
The next day, The Quinta threw a beautiful brunch and most people set off to the beach or other top tourist spots. WE had another photoshoot with The Ballesteros! I love love love doing the post wedding day photoshoot because everyone is feeling so much more relaxed and there are no timelines or schedules to work around. If you can, I highly recommend asking your photographer about this!
