M + F // San Francisco Sailing and City Wedding Weekend

MM & Flip’s wedding weekend was one of the funnest weekends to plan and we’re here to talk about it!

These two met at Treasure Island Sailing Center (TISC) about 10 years ago and are sailors to the bone. Because of this, it was super important to incorporate a regatta day into our weekend. We gathered everyone at TISC the day before the wedding for a day of playing and sailing on the Bay! Chairman and El Tonayense kept our bellies full and we simply BYO’d everything else. On wedding day, Dreamcatcher Artistry glammed our girls and soon after, MM & Flip headed to Kohl Mansion. They got ready together, changed into their wedding attire and had a private vow reading before the rest of the crew and guests arrived.

At the beginning of planning with these two, we had another venue selected where they were going to be married in the middle of a rose garden with their guests all around. When we were forced to pivot due to venue damage, we found Kohl Mansion! Ampersand and I walked the property and dreamt up the most insane beautiful ceremony in Kohl Mansion’s roses and we were able to give them their dream garden ceremony in and among the roses.

After ceremony, we moved to cocktail hour which was held in the courtyard space after we decided on wind pivot. Dinner was moved indoors and my goodness did it turn out a zillion times prettier than we expected.

Having clients that give you creative freedom is so special. MM & Flip gave us a Pinterest board and said “go for it” and never looked back. We produced some of our favorite work for them and I think the photos will show how unique and special your big day can be with a little trust and freedom for your teams.

Just Fare & Potliquor kept us fed and beverage’d and Butter& filled us with cake. Vybe Society kept the dance floor going and we partied until they kicked us out. Was the best weekend with the best babes.
